    1. Great! I’m glad you got something out of it! Shaelin Writes on YouTube has an EXCELLENT video on how turn nonverbs into verbs. I highly encourage you to check it out!

  3. Thank you for your presentation at Power Publishing Day. It was extremely informative; more-so than if you try to Google submission query examples or submission query templates! Honestly, everything you spoke of, that you touched on, was “something I learned”. I was today years old when I learned this. Your presentation was very helpful.

  4. The advice that most resonates with me was how the first sentence can only exist in that book. Made me rethink first sentences in my work and the work of others. Thanks for that.

    1. Right! It’s kind of a mind-blowing concept and then you’re like, “Well that makes perfect sense.” Good luck with coming up with something amazing!

  5. “The Query” has often filled my brain with daunting questions. Your PPD talk made it seem a bit more palpably doable. Thank you for that.
Now, I just gotta quiet my imposter syndrome’s intrusive thoughts. 😅

  6. I wanted to send a quick message to thank you for all the helpful information in the Polishing Your Query Submission presentation. I wasn’t able to attend in January, but just watched it today. As a querying author who has been at it for a while, there are many tools I can use immediately to increase my chances of representation.  Thank you again and I hope to talk with you again.  Sincerely, Michael Kuty
